Welcome Jaxson John!

On Thursday November 5th our journey began after an 8 hour shift at work and a 40 minute drive home. At 2am after finally climbing into bed next to Larz my water started to break. So we packed up and headed back to the hospital, but this time I was going to be the patient. We arrived on the maternity ward at about 330am and by 4 I was in active labor with the contractions coming on fast and furious. Labor was quick and by 7:31am on Friday November 6th, I was holding my baby boy in my arms. He came 8 days before his due date and it was a good thing. He weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds and 5 ounces and was a whole 21.5 inches long. He was also blessed with a huge head at 36.5cm.
