We are having a .........

Boy!

Today we went to have a 2D ultrasound done just to determine the sex of the baby since the doctor could not decide. We went to this place in Guilford called What's Kickin. They specialize in 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasounds for keepsake purposes. The owner who is also the ultrasound technician was so nice. She made the experience that much more special. She could not believe that the doctor missed that we were having a boy. She gave us a lot more print outs than was included in our package and she even gave us a quick peek at a 3D image.

Water Babies

Yesterday was Oliver and Katie's first day of swim school. I thought the first couple of classes were going to be a disaster, but to my surprise both of them did very well. At first they were not so sure about the "giant bath", but it only took minutes for them both to become comfortable. Oliver loved it all, except when the instructor gave him a toy and then took it back. He giggled and kept trying to stick his face in the water. We are looking forward to next week because Daddy has the day off and will be joining us.

Baby Whatever

Here is baby number 2 or as of late... baby whatever. We had an ultrasound yesterday and unfortunately the doctor had to do it because the tech is out for the month. By what he could see he was not confident to say either way the sex of the baby. The baby is healthy, but we were still very disappointed leaving the office still not knowing if Oliver was going to have a baby brother or sister. I made an appointment for next Saturday to have a level 2 ultrasound at the same place we will later have the 3D/4D ultrasound done. I have high hopes that by Saturday we will have a gender determination to report back!
