So all I do now a days is sleep, work and take care of the kids. But since Thursday I have been very sick but I am starting to feel better today. Here are some pictures I was able to squeeze in over the past couple of days.
Jaxson is now 2 months old and growing more each day. He had his 2 month well baby visit and his stats are as follows, 14 pounds 4 ounces and 24 inches long. The time is flying by and in 11 short days I will find myself back to work. The next couple of months will be a trying time in our household as I am moving to nights. Nights as in overnight so I won't be returning home from work until after 8am. I know I'm crazy but it's the only way we are able to have consistent childcare. My Dad is going to stay with them for the couple of hours in the morning where Larz and my shifts overlap. So when I get back from work I will have to take care of a very energenic, hell raising male todder and a newborn all on no sleep. I keep telling everyone I'll sleep when I'm dead!
This year was Oliver's second xmas and Jaxsons first. It turned out to be a much better xmas than last year. To recap last Christmas eve I had to come home from work early because I caught the GI bug and passed it around to all the visitors we had staying with us. We started out with Christmas morning opening gifts at home with Grandma, GrampBob and Muzzy. Oliver and Jaxson were terribly spoiled by "Santa". After opening gifts and relaxing a bit we headed over to my Dad's house to spend part of the day with him and Cheryl and her family.
Last year Oliver was a little too young to go out in the snow, but this year he is the perfect age to start playing in the snow and getting use to the cold. Mama can't wait til he is old enough to take to the slopes! Getting dressed to go out was definitely not his favorite part and it took him a little while to warm up to things, but Daddy made it a ton of fun.
"Ok, I'm out here. Now what?"

After a while things got boring out there so Oliver came in to warm up while Daddy began to tackle the driveway. Later on Grandpa came to the rescue with the snow blower to finish up the job. Oliver wanted to go back out and play with Daddy while we waited for Grandpa to come.
This year we decided to get a real Christmas tree. We enlisted the help of my Dad since he has the truck. We went to Maple Lane Farms in Preston to find the perfect tree, well almost perfect. Here are a some pictures from our adventure

Jaxson stayed in the car with Grandpa, it was only 28 degrees out
Unless we are outside in good lighting it is very hard for me to get a good shot of Oliver in action. I recently got a flash, but still trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing with it. Oliver loves to scrunch his nose when something is going on he doesn't like, for example when I turn a movie off in the middle because it's bedtime. I was testing out my new lens some more and caught him in the moment.
Here is another shot with my new lens of the winter sky.
Today Jaxson went to the pediatrician for his 1 Month well baby visit. He tips the scales at 11 pounds 11 ounces and is now 22 and 3/4ths inches long. This places him in the 90th percentile for both his height and weight. The doctor, who is also the one who Oliver sees regularly, said that Jax may not be the "little" brother forever. I really think I may have to take out a second mortgage on our house just to feed them when they become teenagers. My new camera lens and flash arrived today and I was able to take them for a quick test drive. Here are a couple of pics of my porkchop!
