While we were out in Michigan Oliver had a couple of teeth come through. He unfortunately got a very bad diaper rash because of all the diarrhea..... so we let him run free outside to let the air get at it. During his naked romp he stopped once to water a patch of Grammy Denise's lawn. Gotta love the blackmail photo ops!
After a long day at the zoo it was still 90 degrees out. We stopped at walmart and bought Oliver a kiddie pool. The water did not have enough time to warm up in the sun so we had more fun playing from the outside of the pool. Here are some pictures of my little bathing beauty with the farmers tan splashing around.
Today we went to the Toledo Zoo with Grandma and Grampbob. There were a lot of animals to see, unfortunately it was a very hot day so many of the animals were sleeping out of the sun which happened to be far away from the viewing areas. We still had a lot of fun and got to see some cool animals. Oliver had a blast and we can't wait to take him to a zoo again when he gets a little older. Here are some of the best pictures from the day.
We started our vacation today in good old Pennsylvania with Larz's mom and sister. Oliver is already having far too much fun and being spoiled rotten. Grammy Denise bought him some bubbles to play with out in the yard. The wind was really starting to whip but the sun was still shining. This was about 30 minutes before the thunder started and the rain began to pour.
As you can tell he had a blast chasing after all the bubbles.
Oliver is a very busy boy 24/7. Even in his sleep he cannot keep still. Every time we check on him he is either wedged up in the corner of the crib or flipped around facing the opposite end of the crib. Never is he in the same place we put him down to sleep. His favorite position to sleep in is what I call his frog pose. Tonight he had a fever so I went to check on him and I just couldn't resist taking a picture. I had to use the flash, but fortunately I didn't wake him up.
Oliver and Daddy took me out to dinner at Steak Loft for a Mother's day/Birthday Celebration seeing how I have to work both days. After all of our bellies were full we came home and enjoyed a romp around the yard. Of course I took advantage of this photo opportunity. The lawn has gotten quite bushy after all of this rain so Oliver thought it a good idea to mow the lawn. I also took this time to play around with my camera. ENJOY!
Oliver got the biggest kick out of pulling Daddy around the living room floor. At one point he started to "push" him back. I have the silliest little boy!
I am now 12 weeks along with this pregnancy. The fetus is about the size of a lime at this point, hard to tell by the size of my belly. It's sad but with Oliver I think I was this big at about 5 months. Luckily my jeans still fit, but soon I'll be needing to wear all maternity clothes. This time around I've had barely any morning sickness and now I'm beginning to get my energy back.
We bought some plants today at Lowes to decorate the area on the side of our driveway that we so nicely mulched. Oliver wanted to help but he kept raking the flowers off my plants. So we moved him to rake the lawn.
Mama supervised as Daddy did all the hard labor..... and we still haven't finished! This is our first attempt at a flower garden, but luckily most of what we are planting are annuals so next year we can start fresh.
